The destiny of a 'legend' is, not to be ever forgotten, but sadly the song of one's glory are sung post-demise; every step taken becomes worth preserving only in the end, that finally qualifies to build up a memorable story's premise...
Curtains are meant to be raised, & curtains ultimately gets drawn, in an epic way today, a behemoth has withdrawn; his legacy will inspire the narrative of many more newer dawns, so lets remember him and celebrate the culmination of one 'Great Life's' marathon!
He was subtle, understated & believable, certainly giving every frame a 'definition of finality'; no one ever will come closer, I am sure, to his class, composure, & quality!
His going, has created a space which no one can ever fill—for what he was, what he has been, & what his grand 'legacy' shall instill!
Many 'rough diamonds' must have learnt from him to shine—despite their flaws; & many will keep on drawing inspiration from him, who aspire, firmly, to put on the classic show!
The doyen of 'Hindi Cinema's Golden Age' has sadly expired today, but I am hopeful that his legacy will continue; i hope, the rare specimens of his very many masterpieces will keep on inspiring the new...
It must not have been easy for him to be an ever guiding beacon, for only a God gifted –blessed soul can be revered as a 'cultural icon'; today, the last of the Trioka( others: Raj & Dev) has finally gone, lets mourn at the loss of such a marvellous phenomenon!!!
