An attempt to look closely, what our 'Constitution' unknowingly hides;
let's take a  rhythmic ride to know the rudiments of it, that are  hereby #ALPHABETISED ...

A- Adult Franchise—Universal: In the twilight of Colonial—restricted democracy—era, the the future of (would be) world's largest democracy was depressingly dark; with doing away of property, education & gender qualifications, our democracy has had the calling from the new horizons of freedom & empowerment, and thus upon it embarked!

B- Blend : Where rigidness of rules is balanced with proportionate flexibility in the exercise of jurisprudence; a system of 'bold aspirations' is envisioned here, to be achieved with qualified timidity or utter prudence !

C- Citizenship–Single: Single citizenship promote national unity & tries to keep the adversity of 'regionalism' at bay; various languages though come in as a saviour of such feeling, and regionalism does find a certain say...

D- DPSP—The Directives: Fraught with compulsion, a 'welfare state' was conceived by design; to fill the gaps between the paradoxical extremes of realities and aspirations, we have been racing since against the time...

E- Emergency Provisions: Acts as a buffer—a cushion of sorts against the shocks; the grave threats to 'security & integrity' of the nation are supposed to be checked timely for keeping safe the plinth of the bedrock!

F- Fundamental Rights/Duties:
Fundamental rights of an individual are protected, to prevent the state from becoming 'totalitarian'; whereas Duties are imposed upon, to prevent the same individual from turning into a 'barbarian'!

G- Goal: Its goal is to meet the 'ends' of Justice, liberty, equality & fraternity... while ensuring that the character of a sovereign , socialist, secular, democratic , republic India serves well as enabling 'means'; No better preface it can get than the Preamble—the beholder of its formative genes...

H- Highness: Its Highness is sanctimonious as it is the 'supreme law of the land'; the final arbiter of this document is the Judiciary—the conservator of this brand!

I- Intention: It is a document that intends to endure for ages to come ; as "change is the only constant", thus it is interpretable  only in the existing socio-political context as a rule of thumb!

J- Judiciary: Judiciary is meant to be integrated and independent for more than one logical sense; the seamlessness of law enforcement is a must in a Federal set up, & so does the flawlessness in jurisprudence!

K- Kaleidoscope: A complex range of constantly changing patterns of a society are displayed in a constitution; the obsolete colours fade away in time and relevant ones thrive as institutions—protected & preserved!

L- Lengthiest: It is the Lengthiest mosaic for a sovereign nation, built by almost 1,45,000 words; to be the guardian of Unity in such a phenomenal diversity, it had to include everything but anything absurd!

M- Monomorphic: Its monomorphism is conditional, as its 'basic structure' remains immune to change; sparing those elements of its existence, every other thing could be rearranged...

N- Natural justice: Constitution is a general guide that helps in fixing a general duty upon every authority to act fairly & certainly within the legal bounds; the rule against bias must rule the roost, it says, & right to fair hearing must have a sound!

O- Obligation: At the height of ungratefulness... Where a selfish citizen happily plucks the fruit of civilisation, but unwilling to do their bit to water the tree; 'Duty' performance is supposed to be made obligatory now, as for very long, 'rights' have been available for free!

P+Q- Pro bono+ Quid pro quo: Pro bono work has long lived, and meanwhile, the beneficiaries must have saved; it is time to resort to quid pro quo, as it's time in return they gave!

R- Rule of Law: This concept pervades the entire constitution & is one of the values on which Constitution stands; in the eyes of law a 'king' is equal to the 'subject', and their otherwise disparaged conditions can be made equal for consideration, by the concept's different strand...

S- Sources: Sources to our Constitution were many that made it a 'bag of borrowings' indeed, but the desire to harvest a good crop necessitated the borrowing of good seeds...
After all, there is no shame in borrowing unless your intention is to make the most out of it; we are now the best specimen of functional democracy—representing a ragtag of crazy misfits...

T- Three Tier Government: Originally it gave the 'Dual polity'—quasi federal has been the Double government's nature; Centre held the central authority having states at the periphery, till the 'grassroots' came in PRI's favour...

U- Umbrella: Constitution provides a universal umbrella under which a 'synthesis' of  Sovereign parliament & supreme judiciary thrives; however, by way of isolated events of transgression into another's  territory, somewhat dampness in relations somehow revives...

V- Vast: Not just Lengthiest rather its scale of coverage is extremely vast; no amount of newness could ever overwhelm its appetite to absorb, as all expectations have been timely surpassed!

W- The Witness: It has been made to be the witness to the developments in the world & absorb the goodness of it all; the wisdom of the wisest was put to frame it, when in their court came the ball...

X- Xenodochial— ever friendly to strangers!
Y- Ever Youthful!
Z- Ever Zestful!

LONG LIVE THE CONSTITUTION!
